This was a commission for the instrument blanket of a viola player who was inspired by the Noisy Flowers series, but wanted something that would more match his existing viola case as well as the feeling of the music that he plays. The backing of this piece is moleskin, so as to be very gentle as it lays across and protects the strings and rosin, but also very durable as it is in constant use. Finished in 2019.
