Interior Design Solutions

With modern interiors and design, there is often a need to balance clean lines with warm, tactile and comforting wall art. Bringing in the idea of a custom modern tapestry or a quilted wall hanging is a great way to complement a clean designed interior and help it to feel more welcoming. Fabric art - or fiber art, as some call it, brings with it the sense of comfort and well being that seem to inherently come along with textiles that we include in our lives.

Some past customers have scheduled visits with me when they are working on decorating their home or office spaces and want something that would bring color, warmth and welcome to their walls.

My pieces have been selected for display in many settings, both corporate and residential, and even have been used in interior decorating for commercials thanks to a gallery that I have representation with that rents out work for media and staging use. Past custom Hospitality settings include a 10’x5’ interactive piece designed for permanent installation in a children’s museum in Santa Monica, pieces for medical offices, therapist’s offices and custom family heirloom art. Designers and decorators find there is much flexibility in my work using traditional American craft techniques to make modern artisanal quilts, mixed media collage and high end design installations for created spaces with both modern and transitional interiors.

I invite you to come for a studio visit to my Los Angeles art studio where you can peruse ready to purchase works and series of works, learn about my process, or to connect (in person or online) to design a custom art piece for your designed interior as a textile installation. I welcome art inquiries and studio tours and have even have done tours virtually for long distance customers. (Some of my pieces have been created by virtual consultations with designers across the country.)
